Tooling

In this section we’ll cover some of the tools that come with the Hapi program and make it easier to use.

They are:

• The Translator;
• The Visualizer;

The Translator translates Hapi files to YAML. In practice, this gives the language almost universal versatility, as the great majority of Access Policy programs in use today are structured by YAML.

The Visualizer is the tool that helps the user to deal with their Hapi policies, providing a helpful report, when they are inserted in a specific field in the WEB application.

All information and instructions necessary, as well as some practical examples, are given in the coming subsections.
